Korean Bibimbap with Cannabis Sesame Oil

A harmony bowl: warm rice topped with sautéed vegetables, gochujang, a fried egg, and a drizzle of cannabis-infused sesame oil. Myrcene's earthy base merges with the nutty sesame and fermented chili.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked short-grain rice
  • 4 oz bulgogi beef or marinated tofu
  • 1 cup spinach, blanched and seasoned
  • 1 carrot, julienned and sautéed
  • 1 zucchini, julienned and sautéed
  • ½ cup bean sprouts, blanched
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tbsp gochujang
  • 1 tbsp cannabis-infused sesame oil
  • Toasted sesame seeds, kimchi

How to make it

  1. 1

Prepare all vegetable toppings: blanch spinach and sprouts, sauté carrot and zucchini separately with a pinch of salt.

  2. 2

Cook bulgogi (or marinated tofu) in a hot skillet until caramelized.

  3. 3

Divide warm rice into two stone or regular bowls.

  4. 4

Arrange vegetables, protein, and kimchi in sections over rice.

  5. 5

Fry eggs sunny-side up. Place one on each bowl.

  6. 6

Drizzle cannabis sesame oil and a generous spoonful of gochujang.

  7. 7

Mix everything together at the table before eating.

Cooking tips

  • A dolsot (stone bowl) gives prized crispy rice at the bottom.
  • Each vegetable should be seasoned separately — that's the Korean way.
  • Add a handful of pickled radish for crunch.

Why this pairing works

Myrcene — in your strain and on your plate

Myrcene is the most common terpene in cannabis and the engine behind many indica-style sedating effects. Earthy and herbaceous, it loves rich, slow-cooked, comforting foods.
