  • 1 cup yogurt
  • 2 tbsp tandoori spice mix
  • 1 can (14 oz) crushed tomatoes
  • ¾ cup heavy cream
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 tsp garam masala
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 4 naan breads
  • 2 tbsp cannabis-infused butter

How to make it

  1. 1

Marinate chicken in yogurt and tandoori spice for 30 minutes (or overnight).

  2. 2

Sear chicken in a hot skillet until charred. Remove.

  3. 3

In the same pan, bloom cumin and garam masala in butter.

  4. 4

Add crushed tomatoes. Simmer 15 minutes, then blend until smooth.

  5. 5

Stir in cream and return chicken. Simmer 10 minutes.

  6. 6

Warm naan and brush with cannabis butter.

  7. 7

Serve chicken over rice with naan and cilantro.

Cooking tips

  • Overnight marinade makes the biggest difference.
  • A tablespoon of honey rounds out the tomato sauce.
  • Kashmiri chili powder gives color without excessive heat.

Why this pairing works

Caryophyllene — in your strain and on your plate

The only terpene that also activates the body's CB2 receptors, caryophyllene brings warm, peppery depth. It loves bold, savory, spicy food—peppercorn steak, aged cheeses, curries.
